Sundaram Hariharan
Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh
Sundaram Hariharan is a Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed articles and has participated in numerous clinical trials. His scientific contributions cover various transplant topics such as: Recurrent and De novo Diseases after renal transplantation, Long-term Kidney Transplant Survival, Surrogate Markers for Renal Transplant Outcome and BKV infection after Renal Transplantation. He has been focusing on identification, pathogenesis and treatment of sub-clinical acute rejection in renal transplant recipients with a goal of treating sub-clinical rejection and improving long-term kidney transplant survival.
He is the CEO of Transplant Interface, LLC. Transplant Interface provides a platform for patients and family members with kidney disease with reference to kidney transplantation. The website will assist patients by providing information about kidney transplantation, improve patient access to transplant centers and enhance efficiency which in-turn lead to early listing and transplantation.
Sridhar Tayur
Professor of Operations Management at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business
Dr Sridhar Tayur is the Ford Distinguished Research Chair and Professor of Operations Management at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. He is the founder of the software company SmartOps Corporation and the founder of a social enterprise, OrganJet Corporation. He has published many scholarly publications (in Operations Research, Management Science, Mathematics of Operations Research, Mathematical Programming, Stochastic Models, Queuing Systems, Transportation Science, IIE Transactions, NRLQ, Journal of Algorithms and MSOM Journal), is co-‐editor of the widely referenced book, Quantitative Models for Supply Chain Management, and has served on the editorial boards of many scientific journals. He was named INFORMS Fellow in 2012 and was awarded Pierskalla Prize in 2015 for his work on OrganJet. His work on Organ Transplantation has been covered by several media outlets including The New England Journal of Medicine, Forbes, The Guardian, CBS News (Boston), CBS News (Denver) as well as in an article profiling him in The Atlantic. He is the founder of RAGS Charitable Foundation that supports higher education, independent and documentary films, child health, development and education, women empowerment through micro-finance, and early stage medical/science research.

Travis Watson
15 years of experience in healthcare and transplant
Travis L. Watson, RN, has over 15 years of experience in healthcare and transplant. He currently serves as the Administrative Director for Transplant Quality and Operations for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and formerly served as clinical manager at St. Louis University Hospital and St. Vincent's Medical Center in Los Angeles. He holds a BS in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Travis has a passion for teaching and focusing on technology to enhance patient experience.
Phillip Farabaugh
B.S. in Biology from Slippery Rock University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University
Philip Farabaugh holds a B.S. in Biology from Slippery Rock University and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. He spent 8 years working in financial services beginning with Merrill Lynch and then Morgan Stanley in their institutional markets and the investment banking divisions. He worked with Morgan Stanley’s affiliate investment banks to map out growth and exit strategies for companies. Industry experience includes managed services, manufacturing, IT, software, medical device, and biopharma. He has conducted due diligence on hundreds of companies alongside numerous private equity, venture capital, and family office groups. He has also served as interim CEO/COO/CFO for several emerging companies in the healthcare and technology space. As the Principal for Exodos Ventures, he provides companies the strategic advice and operational support to maximize a company’s value. Using acquisition metrics, Exodos provides companies with blueprints to growing their company based on their specific industry and company metrics. Those blueprints assist companies in making key decisions based on sensitivity analysis and impact comparisons.
He is currently on the Advisory Board of the following organizations: Accipiter Systems: (Network technology company that has developed a photonic communication) platform for data centers and Antria (The first company to obtain Phase I FDA approval for use of stem cells in facial fat grafting).
